WHO WE ARE

ECLAP is a best-practice network co-funded through the ICT Policy Support Programme of the European Commission. The goal of ECLAP is to enable access to Performing Arts digital resources by creating a unified online repository. The ECLAP Best Practice Network is part of Europeana, the multi-lingual online collection of millions of digitised items from European museums, libraries, archives and multi-media collections. |

The ECLAP Consortium
The core of the ECLAP consortium consists of 19 partners from 13 European countries, including representatives of all the key stakeholder groups in the field. |
The ECLAP Working Groups ECLAP's first priority is to forge strong links with the Performing Arts community (theatre, music, dance, and live arts). We are looking to share experiences and exchange knowledge with institutions/experts whose interests are germane to ECLAP. For this reason, within the overall consortium the ECLAP Best Practice Network has established three Working Groups (WGs), whose themes focus on: |

Discover Europe's performing arts heritage ECLAP provides unique access to an unprecedented range of audio-visual material from the main European performing arts institutions. More than one million items pertaining to classes and rehearsals of the great masters of theatre and dance of the 20th century are featured, but also the great masterpieces of oral tradition, as well as unique videos, images and texts related to more than 50 years of activity of the Nobel Laureates Dario Fo and Franca Rame.
