Popis The aim of this deliverable is to validate achieved results and to explore current practices that make use of information technology in the fields of education and leisure concerning the Performing Arts, and to identify specific services that ECLAP could provide to meet the needs of these fields. Focus lies on the (end-)users – students, teachers, researchers and interested laymen – and what they are likely to expect from a European digital library of the performing arts. Not only with regard to content material and (ease of) searchability and accessibility but also with regard to possible ‘extras’ provided by the ECLAP portal. The services are the collected activities end users can perform with and around the ECLAP content. This report is presenting recommendations on possible user activities as services but will touch upon conditional aspects and related products as well. Note that the results reported in this deliverable, also if they have been analysed in an objective manner, have not to be considered exhaustive since the reference period analysed is limited to a few months of the ECLAP portal lifetime. This means that the number of registered users or the number of public users that visited the ECLAP portal is too low to guarantee an exhaustive and complete analysis, and also the number of content items published on the portal was too low in respect of the total number of items foreseen at the end of the project. Finally it is important to consider as a priority, that the main scope of this kind of analysis is to understand how to make ECLAP more attractive for new users and to make registered users more aware of ECLAP functionalities, so they increase the period of time they spend on the portal and use ECLAP features in a more effective way.
